I found this poem while reading, I like it.
To One Who has been Long in City Pent
by John Keats (1795 – 1821)
To one who has been long in city pent,
’Tis very sweet to look into the fair
And open face of heaven,—to breathe a prayer
Full in the smile of the blue firmament.
Who is more happy, when, with hearts content,
Fatigued he sinks into some pleasant lair
Of wavy grass, and reads a debonair
And gentle tale of love and languishment?
Returning home at evening, with an ear
Catching the notes of Philomel,—an eye
Watching the sailing cloudlet’s bright career,
He mourns that day so soon has glided by:
E’en like the passage of an angel’s tear
That falls through the clear ether silently.

The catch shot is a stunner! Felines are so photogenic. ;-)
Love the cat, it goes well with the birds silhouette I saw on another swf blog.

thanks for dropping by my blog.
The cat has it, but only just. Stunners all of them.
I know the cat shot seems to be winning the none contest. But, I would not be able to pick a favorite. All tell their own story and all are beautiful.
Beautiful series! I have a special fondness for the kitty silhouette, though. :-)
Oh, and the Keats poem was a very nice touch!

Nice photos! My favorite is the foggy one, but all are excellent!
All exceptional images, Larry, and all well chosen for SWF post! Like the radiation fog at sunrise and the verse.
