Walking Again

I have not been walking in a long time, too long. Yesterday my wife suggested we go for a 10 minute hike, I thought sure that would be an excellent way to start back to a daily routine...
We started and she kept saying lets see where this trail leads...

An hour later after hiking up and down hills in the wilderness park near town, I fell back into the truck. Man I am sore today but committed to getting out every day..

A Hike Along Shoal Creek

Spent yesterday afternoon hiking along Shoal Creek with my wife. Part of the Audubon Glades and Conservation Area just south of Joplin, really worth a stop if your close by. Sunshine, lots of birds, warm temps in the 50s a beautiful day.

Our World Tuesday Week 19

Yesterday I was at an auction in Joplin and stopped at this mural on the way home. The town is starting a new year rebuilding after the tornado that nearly wiped out a third of the city. Its a beautiful mural full of color and hope, as is the city.
