Early Morning Walk
Squash Plant
The mornings have been the best time lately to walk out through the garden to the back pastures. The temperature was already at that point where the cicadas clock in and begin the days symphony, accompanied today by a lone Mourning Dove.Sunflower

My World Tuesday
I wandered around a County Fair Recently here in South East Kansas. These are some of the things I saw;
The Hog Barn was a hot bed of hog activity. This young man seemed a little uncommitted with his entry.
It took several guys to get this hog going in the right direction.
This young lady seemed to be glad about her entry.
I actually was early, lots of good fair food had not even opened yet.
The politicians were there.
The horse barn, a favorite stop of mine was actually pretty empty.
that's whats been happening in My World.

Camera Critters Bronx Zoo
This past week I visited family in New York, my youngest daughter and her boy friend tagged along for the trip. It was a fantastic week. Sunday morning we headed out to a favorite haunt The Bronx Zoo. My Brothers family met us there.
The weather was beautiful, the heat and humidity gave us a slight break for the day. Most of the fauna seemed to think sleeping outdoors in such nice weather was just right.
What a better way to spend the afternoon. Napping.
There actually was quite a bit of activity. This is an amazing zoo, we saw many species of rare mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, spiders, and insects I have never seen outside of a book, as well as many familiar species.
