Road Trip

Recently the wife and I loaded up the van and headed east to Pennsylvania for a family wedding. We logged a bunch of miles staying off the interstate as much as possible. Wandering in and out of small towns looking for and finding great architecture, food, flea markets, fly shops, brew, and folks. Gettysburg proved to be a incredible spur of the moment stop. " Hey its just an hour that way lets stop I said", we spent the afternoon there its an outstanding and moving place.  We actually did make it to the wedding on time. The entire trip took a lot longer time wise doing the two lane dance but was worth every moment.

My World Tuesday Dingmans Falls

Some photos taken while hiking up the trail to Dingmans Falls recently. Located in Eastern Pennsylvania near the Delaware River. My wife and I were the only folks on the trail this particular morning, as rain threatened. A few days later we came back with family and found literally a hundred people here.

Watery Wednesday

Pond near Prairie State Park

Lots of rain here in SE KS lately, whenever then sun even threatens to shine its been a choice of running for the fishing gear or the lawn mower, the fishing gear is winning.

"Don't knock the weather; nine-tenths of the people couldn't start a conversation if it didn't change once in a while." Kin Hubbard
