October evening along a gravel road

Indian summer evening, the lake as smooth as glass. A Heddon Big Hopper that the young bass are crazy for. Coots. Blue Heron. Sandwiches and quiet.  Thoughts of my mother who recently passed. My wife working a puzzle book, looks up an says "Its just beautiful here isn't it?" The road home at dusk. Three scissor tail fly catchers on an power line, I thought they would have  moved on by now. The shadows of deer in the fading light.

Art in the Park.

A few photos from my wife's booth over at "Art in The Park" this past weekend.

She sold almost all of her work.

She titled this piece "Menopausal Madness" It brought lots of good comments.

She would even hold your dog for you if you wanted a photo or two.
For me the biggest thrill was seeing folks of all ages break into smiles as they came around the bend and saw her work.
